Chronicling America is a valuable historical newspaper project co-sponsored by The Library of Congress and The National Endowment for Humanities. Users are able to search a database of an expanding collection of newspapers from throughout the United States, and to see the digitized images. The main search page allows for narrowing searches by state and date, while the advanced search option provides additional ways to find information. Chronicling America’s API, which is clearly explained (http://chroniclingamerica.loc.gov/about/api/ ) , offers even more options for information retrieval. The only negative about Chronicling America is that it leaves users wanting more. Due to copyright restrictions, the newspaper runs end in 1922. Chronicling America provides rich content about and numerous avenues of access to the lives and activities of many Americans, and the newspapers that strove for their business,
