Periodicals

     Seventy-eight women who were born in Massachusetts contributed to periodicals.  They selected periodicals of different types from a variety of cities, and  those from Boston, New York, Cincinnati, and San Francisco periodicals were popular choices.

     Thanks to the Making of America Cornell and Making of America Michigan projects, it is possible for anyone to access many of the pieces by and about these women.
